Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
A set of advanced testing methods of engine parts surface properties that are performed without any damages through the use of the following NDT methods carried out to the international NAS 410 or EN 4179 standards:
• Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) • Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) • Ultrasonic Testing (UT) • Automated Eddy Current (ED)
A surface metal treatment carried out to the standards and specifications approved by American Welding Society (AWS) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other regulatory authorities.
This surface treatment and coating method is performed on certain engine components in accordance with the reputable AWS and ISO standards.
This in-house functionality is performed meeting the specifications of Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ). Four methods are used in support of engine repairs requirements which are aluminum alloy, stainless steel, titanium alloy and Inconel.
